The Contract Notice for the construction of the £155 million A9 Dualling: Tay Crossing to Ballinluig project has been published.

Transport Scotland has today taken a further step forward in the delivery of the A9 Dualling programme, outlining its intentions for procurement of the section.

Communities are invited to view plans for completing the dualling of the A9 between Perth and Inverness at venues along the corridor over the coming weeks.

Parliament is updated on the delivery plan for dualling works for the remaining single carriageway sections of the A9 between Perth and Inverness.

The preferred route option for the challenging section of the route between Pass of Birnam and Tay Crossing has been identified.

The Contract Notice for the construction of the £150 million A9 Dualling: Tomatin to Moy project was published on 5 September 2023.
