Road users are advised that temporary traffic signals will be in place overnight on the A9 through the single carriageway section between the Tay Crossing and Ballinluig commencing Monday 13 January 2025 for approximately four weeks to undertake ground investigation work.

These temporary traffic signals are necessary to ensure road user and road worker safety and to safely manage traffic flows whilst the ground investigation works are undertaken.

The traffic signals will be in place between 1930 and 0600 each night with no work on Saturday or Sunday nights, and with the location of the traffic signals varying over the period of the work.

Road users are advised to approach the area with care and allow extra time for their journeys whilst this work is undertaken. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this work.

Please note, all work is weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable. Please refer to the Traffic Scotland website for live updates.
